About Us

Why Snowdrop Counseling?

In the middle of winter, when everything seems cold, dead, and lonely - the snowdrop reminds us that spring will come.

An image of resilience, the snowdrop blooms through the harshest weather. It fights through a blanket of snow to rise, having triumphed over the conditions that threatened to destroy it. The bowed head protects the snowdrop’s pollen from the elements. The snowdrop reminds us that no matter what threatens to destroy us, we can bloom through the harshest conditions. We may bend, but we will not break.

About Me

Hi, I'm Kaleigh Ruegsegger, and I'm happy that you're here.

I'm the owner and sole counselor at Snowdrop Counseling, LLC. I'm down-to-earth, real, and easy to talk to. I started Snowdrop Counseling because I wanted to create a place for real healing, and a place where my clients could be themselves. I'm a believer in Christ, and I am happy to integrate Christian values, themes, and principles into counseling when my clients request it.

More About Me

Education

I graduated in May 2025 from Ashland Theological Seminary with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I learned how to counsel people of all faiths and backgrounds, but I also learned how to integrate Christianity into the counseling space, when requested by my clients.

License

I am approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My license # is C.2507204, and I am supervised by Mary Rose Hamparian LPCC-S (E.0008061-SUPV), and Jennifer Ditmyer LPCC-S (E.1901181-SUPV).

Personal Life

I am married, and my husband and I are members of our local non-denominational church. I own three cats, and I volunteer for TNR (trap-neuter-return) with a local shelter to help control the stray cat population in Columbus. I volunteer as a Sunday school teacher at my church, and I'm an aunt to two lovely nieces and one rambunctious nephew. I spend a lot of my free time helping stray cats, reading fantasy books, and spending quality time with my friends.
